Who are we?
The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) is a humanitarian, non-governmental and nonprofit organization, founded in 1956, that works in more than 30 countries around the world. Duties
•Coordinate team of Community Services Assistants;
•Establish and maintain communication and information sharing channels between DRC, duty bearers, and the refugee population;
•Ensure access to information for the refugee population, by conducting outreach and awareness activities, as well as participating in mass information campaigns as necessary;
•Implement referral mechanisms according to agreed standard operating procedures; 
•Provide translation of working documents as necessary;
•Conduct assessments and contribute to developing distribution plans;
•Weekly and monthly reporting to Emergency Team Leader;
•Any other duties as may be assigned by the line manager to support DRC’s emergency response;
•Conduct duties in accordance with DRC Code of Conduct.
About You
•Degree in social work, communication or related field
•Previous experience with NGOs is desirable
•Spoken and written English, Kurdish and/or Arabic is essential
•Excellent communication skills
•Excellent organizational skills, ability to determine priorities and attention to detail a must
•Understanding of gender, protection and human rights.
•Strong networking, interpersonal and presentation skills.
•Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player
•Willingness to work in the field (Suruç area)
We offer
An interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world. DRC will offer the successful applicant an initial contract for 6 months. Salary and conditions are in accordance with DRC Turkey’s Terms of Employment for National Staff. You must be available to work in Sanlıurfa (Turkey).
