Duties
•Establish and maintain communication and information sharing channels between DRC, duty bearers, and the refugee population;
•Ensure access to information for the refugee population, by conducting outreach and awareness activities, as well as participating in mass information campaigns as necessary;
•Implement referral mechanisms according to agreed standard operating procedures;
•Conduct assessments and contribute to developing distribution plans;
•Actively participate in distributions and ensure prioritization on vulnerable cases;
•Participate in post-distribution monitoring exercises;
•Weekly and monthly reporting to Community Services Officer;
•Any other duties as may be assigned by the line manager to support DRC’s emergency response;
•Conduct duties in accordance with DRC Code of Conduct.

•Spoken and written English, Kurdish and/or Arabic is essential

•Strong networking and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work in a multicultural context as a flexible and respectful team player
•Willingness to work in the field (Suruç area); flexibility in terms of working hours

We offer
An interesting job in one of the best NGO’s in the world. DRC will offer the successful applicant an initial contract for 6 months. Salary and conditions are in accordance with DRC Turkey’s Terms of Employment for National Staff. You must be available to work in Sanlıurfa (Turkey).
